PNG would be flat out SCARY if we had Faircloth running the offense and McDaniel running defense…it’ll NEVER happen but doesn’t hurt to dream…lol!

Agree

But to me offense is “easy” (easier to coach and do plays) than offense
I know some might disagree with that
In school all through up to graduating several friends of mine and I would do XO sort of like remote email chess
To me it was much harder to draw up defenses and all the reactions to motion etc
Which is a huge part of it (zones and man to man reacting to changing coverages)
I believe the Offensive coaches are being directed (everyone offensively minded wants to draw up genius plays) but they’re sticking to boring for a reason IMO)
All that to say
I’d rather have a defensive genius than an offensive genius
Also we really have two defense guys
Joseph and the DC both are defense guys.

Coach Faircloth gets Sulphur Spring their first playoff win in years, then their first area round win in years, and now with a chance to get his first regional semifinal win in his head coaching career!
Defense wins championships. Ask Roschon Johnson during his PNG career. Never won a regional title. Had the opportunity to coach a once in a lifetime talent.
This season against top ranked teams:
Celina won 31-6
Panther Creek won 41-14
History repeats.

13 years no Regional wins. 13 years to win 100 games.

How quickly you forget.

What if we could keep Jeff Joseph for 13 years.

That worth wishing for. Shame on you.

Jeff Joseph three years one state championship, one state final, an area championship.

A 39-5 record to date.
