I'm having these same conversations here in Hutto with my son. I tell him, there's always somebody bigger and badder than you. So you just hit them harder and they will remember you. The goal right now is to have "win" your pairing. Just get better and keep showing up. The rest will fall inline.
He went up against a Jr HS db at a camp at TXST and made the guy look stupid. So there's hope. I keep reminding him of that.

Now get him back to PNG before his Freshman year LOL
