As I'm sure many of you know, former Indian Brennan Doty took the court for LU last week and made quite an impression. Here's the press conference with Coach Knight after the game. Check out the rooms response when Coach Knight is asked if he has the best QB on campus on his basketball team.

Can a player play both Football and Basketball? I cannot understand why he doesn't play football.......

According to Coach Knight, on that interview, payers play both sports in a lot of schools. In talking to his dad, I think Brennan just felt like he had a better chance of a scholarship with BB.

I know he was very good at basketball as well, but I really thought he had a future as a QB somewhere. The fact that he walked on at Oregon said he had the talent. Hopefully he can earn a scholarship at LU now for bball.

With a season under his belt in the Oregon program the year it wins a Rose Bowl, he should have been offered a scholarship the moment he walked on campus....

LU hasnt exactly set the world on fire yet with all the JUCO quarterbacks that they've tried the past few seasons. Doty may be the best they've had on campus.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bevil was the only JUCO QB at LU. Others were Transfers and Berry was HS.
Sounds like Brennan was done with football. He also has seen only 10 minutes the last two LU loses.
