Maybe winning big at the Freshman level is overrated. Could it be that the success of the JV team is in part because of the ground work and the fundamentals being taught at the 9th grade level. Typically the super athletic teams win big as freshman, but don't develop fundamentally and become middle of the road teams as Varsity.1989NDN said:I have no idea how the fish FR doing, but, put the JV coaches in charge of the FR and SOPH teams ... as an out-of-towner, I read in the PA News online edition that our JV coaches are undefeated since stepping foot onto The Reservation and they are developing some talent for future PN-G stars on Friday nights. Give those guys a raise and ask them to help the FR and SOPH teams, too. Does PN-G still have 2 FR teams, a SOPH team, and a JV team? That was the set-up back in the 1980s.... Great job JV coaching staff. Here, here. Bravo.
Go Indians. Peace.
