We have 23
Should have spiked it and tried some end zone tries
But coaches didn’t know we had a first down (I think) so we kicked it on 1st with :17 left

23-7 us

Definitely
Don’t let ‘em back in the game
They know they’re on the ropes

But they’re dangerous
Probably the best QB we ve faced
And maybe the best QB RB tandem

Too predictable. Don’t understand why we didn’t do RPO with Adams.
I agree. LC was well aware that when Shea was in at QB, it was going to be a running play and the D stacked the box. Huntsville will definitely gameplan that this week. Bailey kept them guessing. Coaches need to add an RPO play with Shea to spread the defense back out.

They will…the RPO game is there. I bet we see it again soon. I’m guessing they will add a few wrinkles to the RPO game. Adams can run it and … throw it out of that set. Can’t say enough great things about Bailey. Great throws, composure, and leadership! WRs #80 and others played great!!!

I agree as well about being too predictable.
on offense. Run, run, then pass on 3rd down is too predictable and puts too much pressure on Baily. Fortunately, he came through for the most part with this scheme, particularly in the first half. But this is not something you can count on against the better teams. Moreover, as important as Shea has been for us the last few games he has more to offer than we are currently utilizing. On the other hand, the defense played great as usual, especially when it counted the most. If not for our turnovers I think we would have had the game well in hand. Any way you look at it a great victory for our Indians.

A very good victory. The first game weve played against a district champion this season. LC definitely several steps up in quality over Brenham and Rouse.

Agree

Would anyone here have liked to see two more possessions had by LC ?
Not me
We scored when we needed it and bled the clock dry

We beat the best team in R3 besides ourselves
Now take care of business with Huntsville then probably LH again (my prediction)

Yeah, can’t look past Huntsville cause they’re definitely peaking at the right time but don’t think they’ll be as tough as LC. Their defense is pretty stout but haven’t seen anything super impressive with their offense.
