This team has a lot of potential. We will see the team get better as Blake finds his deep ball and confidence. I was a little distracted watching as my Granddaughter who has been attending FB games for years was interested in the actual game and the rules for the first time ever. So I didn’t have my eyes on some things. Very impressed with the defense. And the team seems balanced.

According to the PN-G radio team, the defense has been a very strong 2nd half unit. They seem to diagnose what the other team is doing, make adjustments at halftime, and then throw a shutout in the 2nd half. I've only seen one game (@ Huntsville) and that is pretty much what happened. Just need to tighten up the tackling, keep teams from getting to the perimeter, and avoid injuries. Much better defense compared to years past. Off topic - I saw where College Station beat Huntsville last week. Several strong teams in our region.

On a side note, Dave Cambell has us ranked 10th in div 2, but that makes zero sense to me...Huntsville lost this week to College station 29-13 and they arent even ranked

FYI according to MaxPreps College Station is #13 in 4/1 and we are 10th in 4/2 (different arrangement of top 10) for instance MaxPreps has Manvel below us and a few others. Interestingly the AP has decided to use Dave Campbell as their ranking system for the state of Texas. So AP and DC are the same.

Gotcha...for some reason I thought College Station was D2 (not D1) and hence my confusion. Thanks for clarification.
