I can’t wait to read the stats. Sounds like the perfect coaching plan and well executed by the kids.

When was the last time PN-G won a game 7-0? I can’t remember anything like it.

I think PN-G tied B-CP 0-0 in 1979. Can’t remember any 7-0 wins.

Just like last year, PN-G is getting better each week and building momentum and confidence. Playing PAM, BU, and WO-S prepared PN-G for FBM.

Are you serious? That’s pretty stout for PN-G to pitch the shutout. They should give Coach Joseph and Coach McDaniels lifetime contracts.

And a pair of statues under the stands.

I know this isn't the same Fort Bend Marshall as last year, but if our defense can do this to them, I don't see any reason we can't win out the regular season from here on barring injuries. That was the best defensive effort I've ever seen from an Indian squad.

The only other one that comes close was the 1999 quarterfinal against Lamarque 22-6 we were heavily the underdogs and held them to less than 200 yards and 6 points.

I think Joseph and our DC did a tremendous job of containing FBM. Great game plan. But I think the best thing the OC did was to keep Bailey from being forced to create something. They did what it took to win the game and didn’t put pressure on Bailey. Bailey did a great job of doing what the coaches asked of him. Things will get better with the more experience he gets.

This PNG defense is coached to pursue, swarm and tackle. Not to mention the excellent game planning. These coaches put this defense in position to execute and win.

And Bailey will only get better....he just needs yo get the timing down...skies the limit. Not to get ahead, but we most likely get them again like last yr in the playoffs.
