png ''a'' wins by 33 strokes over png ''b''.png b also qualifies for regionals.i read where png had 5 of the top six in scoring.im pretty sure theres only one senior on the team and no juniors.with several players coming up from the jr high png could be starting a golf dynasty.

Has anyone else noticed the all around improvement, and in some cases dominance of the athletic program since Faircloth arrived?

They said our golf players took six of the top seven individual positions at the district tournament this morning on the announcements, despite the fact that they were apparently playing in poor weather. That's impressive.

Football, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, golf - all have been dominated by PN-G at the district level this year. PN-G typically bests all other schools in its district, whether it be competing in sports, academics, or the performing arts. Our problem is getting past the area level, where we're normally facing schools with 1.5 times the student population and 3 or 4 times the funding. Still, PN-G is a very competitive school and we've proven time and time again that we're capable of going toe-to-toe with schools that have vastly superior resources. That alone says a lot about the caliber of Port Neches-Groves schools.

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
