That is one classy young man...I think he has a tremendous future both in football and in life and I wish him all the best.

I had the pleasure of coaching this young man in Little League baseball and even at the age of twelve, Tatum had his priorities straight. He was a pleasure to coach and he was very talented. I told the coaches at that time that they needed to see this boy on my team, that he would be their next quarterback. Even today, Tatum still will address me as coach, even though I only had the pleasure to coach him for one season. He was the best pitcher in the league at that time and when it was time for allstars, Tatum came to me and said that he did not want to play allstars and to take his name off of the eligible list so someone else that wanted to play could make the team. I told him that he was automatic to make the team. When I asked him why he did not want to play allstars, Tatum said he wanted to spend time during the summer with his dad. At that point I knew he was special. He will go a long way in life.

I have the pleasure of knowing his mom and had worked with her for several years. She is an awesome person...I see the apple didn;t fall far from the tree. This young man is indeed special, I hope he has a tremendous season.
He can be a role model for young people any day of the week.
