the band and indiannetts were great!

one queston though and not being mean , but does our band eat a lot of crawfish or something always waling backwards when they march! ahhaah..

i would like to see our band walk throgh (interlace) from yard line to yard line i think that is too cool how they can do that ! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND WE SHOULD SEE ALL 1'S!! IN OCT!

I'm assuming that you're referring to when we face the backfield. That is designed with a specific intent. Doing so creates a color change because the front of our uniforms is purple and the back is white. Special effects like this earn extra points from the judges.

As far as interlacing goes, we do have some basic interlacing maneuvers. The most noticeable one is in the middle of the first movement, Play Ball, when our straight lines break in half and weave together to form a new block. We tend to stick to the basics with interlacing maneuvers because they are typically associated with the military marching style.

This is for BandKid - Ya'll are looking good again this year. Since you are the Band Connection I have a question. I think somewhere I saw some comment about us seeing a BIG base drum this year. What can you tell us about that?

The fifth bass drum, the largest marching bass drum we have (and I believe they don't make them any larger), was brought back with the second quint this year and both are on the field. There is a larger bass drum, but it is not designed for marching - it's suspended on a cart. That bass drum is only used by pit percussionists when used in marching season.
