Hello to my purple clad friends!

G-P has started the season well, 43-7 over Laredo LBJ, and 41-21 over a pretty good Alice Team. Our players seem to have caught onto the new scheme, and our #1 RB, Devin Bisby (a Jr this year) is a beast. He will be playing D1 ball in a couple of years. Our passing game has improved, but still needs some work. We are now in the same district as Calallen, and the winner of that game will likely be district champ.

Good luck to PNG this season, (except for MCM, got to pull for the Dogs there, after all 3 of my 4 graduated from Nederland!) hope y'all get your game in gear before district play starts.

You look back through the posts from last year and you will see were i told you you all would be good this year. So I guess I can say I told you so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

G-P now 6-0, play at Port Lavaca Calhoun this Friday, for what will in all likelyhood be for the D30-4A championship. The Sandcrabs are going to be tough. They run a triple option veer that we hardly ever see. They might throw 3 passes a game, but can sure run the ball and eat up some clock! GP will need to throw effectivly to win, and slow down the Sandcrab running game.
