How about that dark grey pressbox!!!

we went from a potential state of the art all brick stadium to a 1/4th bricked stadium with a hideous dark grey vinyl sided pressbox. Sorry to be the debbie downer but IMO it looks like hell. They could have went with a better color if they weren't going to brick the thing.

At least they put the PNG seal on the back this week which gives it a little life.

+1.......... I rode by it today and the gray looks like crap. The seal is a nice touch.

I agree. Also, does anyone know if the emblem will be lit at night?

Someone please post a picture of this ugly sight, so we all can have something to bitch about. :cheesy:  Bitching about the way the new AD/HC situation is being handled is getting old and boring. We need a new subject to complain about.

I didn't even notice the siding - I just saw the Indian emblem. I guess I will have to go take another look.

less maintenance on the siding , not need to repaint every so often is my guess why they use that.

siding isnt the issue...the charcoal grey color they selected is. It doesnt match, looks out of place and looks like crap.

Gray siding will fade over time and need to be repainted. A stucco overlay would have looked nice with the brick. The cost is about the same or just alittle more expensive than the siding and would probably be more durable in a hurricane.

Does anyone know if they are going to put back up the sign we had at the bottom of the old press box ? Honor Pride Tradition ? And what about the sign that was over the old ticket booths ?

That first pic with the side view looks dark grey. But the next pics from the back look more brownish to me...Does anyone else notice this, or am I color blind. If the true color is more like the last few pics, then I don't think that it looks that bad...

The color is dark gray. Pictures I have on another thread look different due to low afternoon sun......golden light.

The Honor, Pride, Tradition sign .......the letters for the sign are in crates on site.
