This is great game experience for the back ups. They will get better playing under the Friday night lights. The speed and pressure of a Friday night game is different than playing on Thursdays or practicing with the scout team.

Galena Park has a nice band.

Way to go GP band. Great performance. Best Houston area band we’ve seen so far. Santa Fe was ok as well.
My thoughts too. Disappointed that they didn't do more than play a couple of songs for the dancers. I wanted to see them march

Great game and he probably could have bested the records.

Based on available recorded statistics, the most rushing touchdowns in a game was set by Lyman Bernard in 1938 in a 51-0 win over Kirbyville. The 6 TD record was later tied by 3 other players; Bergeron in 1971, McGill in 1989 and Johnson in 2016.

Here's the top 10.

#33 Lyman Bernard. That's Head Coach Stone on the far left. He later became the principal at Ridgewood. The 1938 team photo was taken in front of the old high school on Main Street.

Here's the top 10 leaders in Season Rushing TDs. Great accomplishment by these 6 players as they stand out in history.

Blair's dad is #44 in this video.
Last seasons linebacker Droddy's dad is #32 Shane Droddy
A few seasons ago Austin and Blake Bost's dad is #26 on this team.
I am sure there are others. Just dont have time to look right now. That 1989 team was stacked.
