Bummer, I guess you have to have a sub to read the PA News. Everything was redacted.

On a phone, you usually have to click on "Take Survey" in order to read them. You don't have to actually take the survey, just click on "skip survey".

No mention of D. Conner at running back. And no mention of some other key players like LB Wyatt Girouard, LB Ja’Colby Smith-Barber, OL Jacob Osbourne, OL Trey Lisauckis, OL Jarret Callier, OL Corey Burt. These players are going to be key contributors.

Anyway, you have to take even DCTF Magazine previews with a grain of salt. Unfortunately the rest are even worse and not worth taking the time to read.

Bost is plenty fast. I'm not sure of his 40-time or his official stats, but he will run fast enough when he needs to move the chains. With the size and strength of the PN-G OL, the QB and RBs should have a big year. The OL should be able to impose its will on teams. If that happens, the Indians could put senior citizens in the backfield. I think the Indians are going to surprise people this year.

Go Indians. Peace.

It wasn't a misprint. Another article confirmed it. There may have been some explanation for him running slower that day.

Quickness and flat out speed are 2 different things. And RJ had a beast mode that broke a lot of tackles into long runs.

If Bost even approaches RJ's running ability, and he is very capable, PNG will be in great, great shape at QB. Bost is already a better pure passer than RJ was at that stage. Exciting things to come. PNG just reloads at QB! (Doty, Miller, Walker, Morse, Johnson, BOST!)

I don't need a stopwatch to tell me that RJ is much faster than a 4.8 forty. My eyeball test says 4.5 - and that's what DCTF listed him at in last year's edition. But I agree what made him special was his strength, lateral quickness and vision to go along with the speed.

From what I saw last year, I don't think Blake Bost has that kind of running talent. But he looks like a good runner and may be a more accurate passer. With the entire O-line coming back, I expect we'll still be putting up 40+ per game. The start of the season is only 4 weeks away. Can't wait.

I'm not real sure about the 40 stats but Bost is fast enough to extend a play if need be. I think if Bost plays Smart and not try to do to much he'll be fine. I also think the first few games he'll be under some pressure on the big stage but will settle in week 3 or 4. Gotta remember playing QB at PNG has a standard to uphold. Playing behind record QB's like Johnson and Adams is a tall task but Bost has a good blood line. He'll settle in just fine, time to make his Name

Im quicker to blame human error for a 4.8 (stopwatch operator) than Roschon’s slowest day as an 8th grader lol. I remember having a stopwatch on my wristwatch in church trying to see how fast I could click go/stop. I could never get it below .2 so that shows you how quick that is. And remember the days of people (haters) saying. “Awww he’s not really that good” we re going to shut him down when he comes to ________ (Crosby, Nederland, etc) none did. I’m sure some of the coaches were just fine with them thinking he was slow. Lol. Well 4.8 isn’t SLOW it just isn’t blazing fast. Also remember the fastest time ever run at the NFL combine is a 4.3 (4.29)
