Heard from Prepballfan that the field was torn up pretty well with the Freshman teams playing their game yesterday.

Old school football conditions tonight! Hopefully some nice, cold football weather to go with it.

When I was on the School Board I encouraged consideration of moving the PN-G/NHS games to Cardinal Stadium. Anyone who wanted to go could get a seat, and we didn't have field turf until my last year on the Board. But, the coaches at the time shot that down. They wouldn't relinquish the "home field advantage." I pointed out that a school only had the advantage 50% of the seasons, but...
My guess is that kind of thinking led to playing at Nederland last night. That, and Nederland needs every advantage tonight.

PN-G gave away points with that TO. I wonder why the coaching staff does not use a time-out on the play before the turnover? The Indians had three time-outs. USE ONE damn it! You don't get a free calendar at the end of the year for all of your saved time-outs! Use them to put our kids in position to score without a turnover!

Hmmm... perhaps the location has caused short term memory loss of which team he’s representing. Or is supposed to represent.

Wasn't about selling tickets. It was providing a ticket to everyone who wanted to attend. I had free tickets for 4 years and gave them away every year to people who couldn't get a ticket and had a reason to go.
