Indians vs Bulldogs: Game Talk

SerIously? You’ve got 2 seniors out there that have played every game the last 2 years injured or not, holding the line together as best they could. With all the injuries and doing pretty well. They’ve all been changing positions trying to find what works. One guy comes back after being out how many games and he’s the best on the line??? Maybe next year, but I think I’ll take Dickerson then too! You all need to appreciate what you’ve got. Next year is going to be really interesting. Glad my kids out.

Never said that. Every player on the O line is contributing and has accomplished a lot this year and last night as a group. My comment comes from observing offensive lineman for a few decades and is based on objective evaluation. In terms of combined size, strength, power, agility and technique, #50 stands out when he plays the game. He's a very, very solid offensive lineman who controls the line of scrimmage. That doesn't take anything away from the other players contributions, and wasn't focused on last night's game.

Actually, you you said “ Burt is back this week. He’s probably the best lineman on the PNG side”. Ok. I still disagree, he has size and potential, but this game or the whole season, I don’t think he’s the best. I like the kid, but like I said, I’d take Dickerson over him next year. Oh and by your explanation, what happened to Garth being the best o lineman at PNG?

Right. He was back this week. And he probably does grade out as the best lineman if you’re looking at it objectively.
Those comments were about being glad he was back in the lineup so that the team is stronger. Nothing more. Dickerson is a good, young player too.
All PNG fans know Garth would have been the leader of that group but since he didn’t play and won’t ever play here again he’s out of the picture. But Jaylen is the best college offensive line prospect coming out of PNG in recent memory. So all intent is now clarified.

I’m still scratching my head on that one too! I’m no football expert by any means but have NEVER seen a scenario where it’s 4th down...pass incomplete with holding penalty and offense gets another go at 4th down!?! Please keep me posted...I’d love to hear the explanation! ‍♀‍♀‍♀

What I heard was, that Nerdland got a 1st down on that play, so we took the penalty. Doesn't answer the question of the knee down.

Yeah, I heard we got a penalty on that play too...TOTALLY missed that I guess. But, you’re right....QB clearly went down in the mud hole...lol! Oh well....we kept the trophy and bragging rights for another year!
