It was the "Tale of Two Games" last night. Our guys could do no wrong for the first half( except battling with some of the officials questionable calls.) and Creek looked puzzled on how to stop us. Then the second half started and roles were reversed. Creek was making all kind of plays and our offense was finally figured out by the Bulldogs. Our defense remained "salty" in being stubborn in to not giving in to Creek's impressive offensive talent. Creek has no business being in 4A with the bodies they have. I will say this....playing our district games will be a lot easier after playing Summer Creek. Our team has nothing to be ashamed of. They did give their "110%" and left everything on the field. That's all we could ask. Great job, guys! :cowboy: :guns: :rocks:

Great test for these young Indians.
Need to get better up front on offense and need to work on tackling. One thing SC did very well was tackle.
Morse did a very good job coming in against a very talented defense. He made a few mental mistakes in the second half and that is to be expected. He is not as pinpoint as Ky.
Last night is a prime example of why he does not need to be on JV. He will be needed again this year.

Not saying he needs to play JV, he needs more reps for situations like this.

At the time of realignment in 2012 Summer Creek was the 5th largest AAAA high school with an enrollment of 2,019. PN-G had an enrollment of 1,431. This will be SC's last year in AAAA.

I know exactly what your saying...But he can't play both and the TEAM needs him on Varsity.

Indians played like Champions! Could not be prouder to say I am from Port Neches Groves! Sometimes realizing hard work does not payoff instantly is a bitter pill to swallow. These Indians are growing by leaps and bounds! Payday is coming and in a big way!

This is a fairly young team by most standards but a very young team by PN-G standards cant wait to see the kids grow into their huge potential
