Stay calm. it's early. The 1st drive we fumbled in the red zone. Both drives in the game portion started with 10yd penalties, one after a long run. Our offense could never get rolling because of penalties. Jaspers good . They have 13 returning,17 if you count the ones going both ways. they ran some stuff our young defense hasn't seen. It was a good learning session. when our coaches have film on a team, the boys will be ready. PAM will be a learning session also. they will be big and fast. What will not kill us, will make us stronger. I know from what I saw in practice yesterday we were working on allot of tackling and blocking and when we did team offense Coach Burnett was blitzing the defense from everywhere and the offense picked most of them up.

Personally, I would like to see the coaches work harder with the linebackers and safety in defending against the pass. Over the years, it has almost always been a weak area. Again, I am sure our defense will toughen up as the PNG spirit catches on. Seems like we always have a decent, if not great, defense. Also, I hope we are better at mixing up the offense. No more "up the middle, up the middle, pass." I cannot wait until the games begin!! :shout: Indians have the best spirit and will prevail!

The greatest area of concern as always will be the ability to cover the pass.

PNG coaches know how to build a defense. The young players just need a little seasoning.
