2022 notes: The Bears had a huge 2021 season, posting their most wins in a single season since 2010 and earning a district title, however much of that group was lost to graduation. Only two starters are back on the offensive side of the ball, led by WR Herman (68-952, 13 TDs receiving) who is a menace in the slot and has great hands. He’ll team with WR Williams (26-346, 6 TDs receiving) to give the Bears a great 1-2 combo in the passing game, but the big question will be youth on the offensive line and at quarterback. The strength of the Montgomery defense is in the secondary with the return of White (103 tackles, 1 INT) and Wilson (55 tackles, 2 INTs) in the backfield. Bolfing says inexperience in the trenches on both sides of the ball will be a concern.
