I'm very glad that your wife is doing fine and I know that God will take care of her. We will continue to pray for her and you in the days ahead. You have always been a great friend to Indian Nation and I know all Indian fans everywhere appreciate your support. Thank you for your encouragement for our team, and for your thoughtful and psitive posts. You are a true friend and I wish a speedy recovery for your wife. God Bless You and Mrs. YD!

NDN79 your kind words really mean alot to us., thank you. Regardless of the rivalry that exists between us, I try to look at this from the point that it's all about the KIDS. Be they Indians or Bulldogs they are kids and they all need support and encouragement, both on and off the fields. It is a pleasure to come on here and be involved, at least in a small way, with your community. Thank you for allowing me that opportunity. I've seen some other "outsiders" post garbage on here that is way out of line and serves no useful purpose. A little trash talk is fine and it gets the blood flowing but a certain amount of respect and consideration is necessary, cause like I said, it's all about the KIDS.

Good luck the rest of the season my friend...good things will come the Indians way.

YD

YD, be sure they check her thyroid levels. I spent 3 days last week in Houston at Methodist Hospital because they thought I was having a heart attack, but after a cath and a scope of my esophagus and stomach everything is normal except my thyroid levels being too high. I will keep her in my prayers.

Someone pointed out Mrs Yankeedawg to me at church yesterday! I have seen her there quite a bit, just never knew her name. I didn't get a chance to say hello, but it was nice connecting the name with a face. Next time I will def introduce myself, wonder if I should call her Mrs. YankeeDawg? ;D

Well, we just found out today that the problem my wife had experienced over the past weeks that you kind folks were thoughtful enough to pray/well-wish for has been determined by a specialist to be gallstones (a good number of them). The specialist has arranged for the missus to consult with a surgeon this Thursday at which time surgery will be scheduled. We are blessed that it turned out to be something relatively minor, as compared to a heart related problem. Thanks again for all your prayers and good wishes. The YD's.

@ NDNmom91 - LOL...her name is Toshia... I'll ask her to try to meet you at church this Sunday.

That's right, u told me her name already! Unfortunately we will not be there this Sunday, we're taking lil man to the Texans/Chiefs game for his bday. I should be there Wed. Its great to hear she's doing well. The surgery should be a breeze! I worked in the OR for a long time and that veoperation is very quick, she'll do GREAT!

I'll pray for her! I had mine out 10 years ago and I must've been the last one in this area to have a 10" incision! Now its done with laser and recovery is very fast. She will be OK.
