WTH? This is the title of the article "Burnett did best to uphold PN-G tradition to excel" IMHO the article has nothing to do with the title, it's merely a look inside the mind of a deranged sports writer. This article rambles about nonsense an contains anecdotal blabber just like the usual TH article. Seriously was he trying to be positive?

"Matt reminded me more of an assistant coach than a head coach throughout his entire time at The Reservation. That's not a criticism. It's just a fact"

A fact? TH you certainly need to go back to school. If you look up fact in the dictionary it goes something like this... a piece of information presented as having objective reality The KEYWORD here is OBJECTIVE, NOT SUBJECTIVE! What and idiot! I guess most of his articles contain "facts" don't they?

"Frequently, though, Burnett's Indians had to overachieve." Here's a novel idea TH... check an original quote from CardiacKids 92 for the truth...
"A measure of a true Indian is what is in his heart. Pride, Honor, Tradition and that never give up attitude that leaves it all on the field. We have beaten many teams with superior talent simply because of our heart."...CardiacKids 92

"To this day, Matt still has a lot of remarkable victories that quite a number of Purple Faithful take for granted." Seriously, does anyone take for granted Matt Burnett and all the many Indian victories that he has provided? I for one do not! He is a great coach and an even greater man and I thouroughly appreciate all the great memories he has provided that defines PNG Indian football.

TH Matt Burnett certainly deserves a much better article than you could ever write. Please do not attempt to write another one of your so called articles about MB or PNG football. PLEASE! :whiteflag:

IMO it's just a "TTKB" article since Coach Burnett has accepted new duties, or just another sarcastic jab at PNG through the printer of a biased sportswriter. As much of a Bulldog fan as I am, I have always thought his articles to be way too one-sided favoring Nederland and way too anti-PNG. A sportswriter's job is to report factual sports news and express a pretty much neutral (or at least a FAIR) opinion based on those facts (without putting down anyone). ALot of his articles seem to cross the line as far as I'm concerned.

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
