Probably because their district is has only 6 teams.

It's ridiculous how the UIL has watered down the playoffs by allowing 4 teams per district. Many say it's to increase revenues.
Now they plan to dictate where games are played, and control the officiating.

I'm sick of big government and controlling entities such as the UIL... :angry:

If PNG made it all the way to the State Championship, what week in December would that be on? I am planning for the future because I would possibly be driving from Virginia.

Thanks a lot. I remember in 1999 they played 6 playoff games. I think Division 1 only plays 5.

Maybe Division 1 only had 5 games back then but now since 4 teams from each District go into the playoffs, both divisions have 6 games.

Congrats pngfan93..........Mine is 12/19 also, but in a Galaxy (Year) far, far away.....................Would absolutely LOVE to see us win STATE on my (our) Birthday and with this Team, Coaches and Fans, I believe it COULD very well happen.
