Tatum is a good drop back passer. I hate running him on the option, he has taken some good licks the past couple years running the ball.

Thanks for the update. I think storm-watching might have had some effect on the numbers, but over the past few years I don't recall the any of the non-district away games being packed. Frankly I wish they would schedule quality local opponents for non-district (WB, WO-S etc.) to minimize the travel, but that is another subject.

As far as band participation I am not sure, nowdays it seem as though there are more things that can occupy a student's time, not these these "things" are better alternatives to participation in school activities.
One thought about the band--maybe if they didn't perform the same routine week after week, fans would be more excited to see them! Also, maybe they could play Cherokee more often and more loud--just a thought!

In defense of the band, the level of competition in marching contest has forced them in that direction. Up until the late 80's, the band could work on 2-3 shows each year, but since they now have to perform more difficult music and no longer can just march on yardlines requires a lot more preparation, but despite, that one of my favorite Indian Bands has to have been the Fall '88 group that placed 5th in state, they did it with relatively simple marching formations, but those guys and gals could wail!

Not criticizing the Indian Band, or pretending to be a band expert. But I would prefer to hear music that's a little more 'traditional'. Great songs that a band can blast out. "March Grandioso", "Spinning Wheel", etc. Maybe those are more appropriate for big college bands.

Not trying to criticize them either, the pass couple years you can barely hear them play. Smaller bands are much louder

:rocks: :rocks: Thanks...I was in that band, and it was such an AWESOME experience to march in UT Stadium!! It was a GREAT feeling to look up into the stands and see a "sea" of purple n white, I still remember hearing a band member from another school saying how he's never seen so much purple before!! NDN fans ROCK!! :rocks: :rocks:

Really, if the band would just turn towards the PNG fans a bit more we could hear them. last week you couldn't hear them at all. Plus, I'd like to see them play more when the opposing team has the ball, like BH was doing last week...and we could hear THEM just fine.
