Starters played great. Backups were a bit disappointing but got good experience. Based on the fact that the backups have done better against other teams, it probably means Kaufman is a lot better than one might think based on their performance against the starters. In any case, I definitely feel better about our chances next week than I did prior to this game.

Yes the starters would have kept scoring at will in the 2nd half and that Kaufman RB would have kept being dropped behind the line. But we finished injury free and have some extra time to rest and prepare for the real playoffs that begin next week.

The playoffs begin now—Round 3. Next week will be a strong test. Texas High will be the best team PNG will have played all season. We need to stop the run and get pressure on the QB.

Kaufman QB had a good arm and their timing was great on passes. Their offensive line was terrible.
