time for a new coach he has had plenty of time to produce a state champion :machinegun: :machinegun: :machinegun: :machinegun:

Hate to bust your bubble, but we wouldn’t win state championship with Nick Saban as the coach. We’re not overran with talent!!

Is RJ hurt ??

He got hurt on the TD pass for the 3rd score of the game. It was at the end of the 1st quarter. Not sure what happened. He popped right up and jogged off the field but then went to the locker room and never came back out.

The 2nd Quarter was not good for PNG. We looked very unorganized and I don’t quite understand why we were killing it with the running game and then went to having Rogers pass over and over unsuccessfully. Having a quarter like that against Vidor, Crosby, Nederland or Barbers Hill will pretty much result in a loss. All of those teams will capitalize and quickly put the game out of reach. Boost looked good. We need to shore up the defense and enough with the unsportsmanlike penalties. We are better than that.

Keep grinding and take one game at a time.

Discipline and execution. That's what contributed to the 70s glory as much or more than over the top talent. And players didn't strut around the field like they're all pro, and then get burned for long gains the next play, or run their mouth to opposing players or refs. This is a fundamental problem with a few players. Walk the talk, not the other way around.

10-4 on that indianfan i know who your talking about but would never reveal names , just play the game like it's your last one and keep the mouths shut. Most of these sr's will be playing the last football game of their lives. Go out and enjoy it without all the extra's this season will be over in a flash trust me.

Maybe old school football mentality is passé, but most of the players on the team are playing the game without all the extra crap. This is a disturbing trend. Football is a team game, not a look at me, look what I did, give me the ball sport. The only show going on should be well executed plays and clean hits.
