I realize it is a tough year for Lumberton and the Raiders face an uphill battle due to low enrollment numbers for a 4A school, but it still takes timing, team work and execution to put up 38 points in one half. Our kids were well coached, ready to play, and they executed well during the first half. Great job Indians.

I hope lots of back-up players get an opportunity to play in the second half. Morse at QB...maybe some back-up RBs, WRs, OL and on defense, too. Develop some depth during the second half.

Go Indians. Peace.

Halftime stats:

Pass PNG 181 Lum 28
Rush PNG 117 Lum 35
First Downs PNG 24

This, of course, doesn't include the 80+ yard pick 6 by our defense.

Yeah, Lumberton can't seem to get anything right and when they do, they turn the ball over. I know it's just Lumberton, but still, things are looking bright for the future.

Good to hear the second and third team players are getting a chance to play and develop. We may need some of those kids to make some plays later on in district play. Hopefully the OL and DL backups will get some playing time. Play all of the young kids and give them Friday night experience. Great job Indians.

Go Indians. Peace.
