Heard we lost some DB's to grades

I am pretty sure someone posted in a thread that if there are any grade issues those player(s) would be available for the next two weeks due to holidays. I am not sure if that is correct.

For better stats go to this link http://www.maxpreps.com/high-schools/pZplvgqgBE2VqW9TdV6tyQ/willis-wildkats/football/home.htm. There is a complete roster and game by game stats. The Houston Chronicle is not accurate.

Yes it is true that kids that failed can participate for two more weekends because of the holiday. Someone said coach mentioned it in the BC meeting and my daughter told me last week cause she was worried about one of her grades.

What are everyones thoughts about Willis being purple n white? Do you think it will affect our game? I know coach will them prepared, just curious what others think.

They've got a some black in their unis I think. Looks a lot like Angleton, IMO. I wouldn't think it would make much difference.

scroll down to see a picture of their nearly all black uni. Not sure if they will wear that or not.
[/quote At least our uniforms are nicer--the black is ugly IMHO.

You guys saw who wrote that article, right??? TH, or as I call him "The Cryptkeeper". Can you really sit out there in Cyber Land, or where ever you may be, and honestly say you trust what this man person has to say about PNG or our Opponents??? He is always down on PNG and high on whom ever we are playing. I believe he would raise up out of his coffin in broad day light and dance a jig every time we loose. Of course that's my opinoin and that won't even get you bubble gum. TH, give me a break.................

OK Indian fans we have crunched a few numbers for you guy for a little fun.

Strength of
Team Rank Schedule Offense Defense Power Rating
PN-G 197 244 109 321 188
Willis 226 366 145 381 244

PNG Opp 292 262 331 278 294
Willis OPP 494 455 487 499 490

Now I used the Massey rating system to come up with the figures. For those of you who are not familiar with Massey its sort of a BCS for high school football. The first 2 lines are ours and Willis's Ranks in the state of Texas that does include 1-5A classifications. The second set is the average of all the opponents together that each of our teams have played. This is just for fun but it does point to alot easier schedule for Willis than we had. Two of their opponents were ranked in the 1000's. This may indicate some of there inflated numbers. I also looked up the win loss for the opp for them and our Indians.

PNG's opp 63 wins 53 losses Willis opp 56 wins 61 losses.

Hope you guys enjoy this as much as we are.

Yeah I know TH is a PNG hater. Now if this were Nederland he would have already declared them State Champs. Also when you read the article he tries to make it sound as if its coach Faircloth making those statement.

I'm not a big Tom Halliburton fan either. Normally, I take his prediction as the worst case scenario for PN-G. Just thought it would add to the conversation.

I agree with you guys regarding TH, but at least he does write PNG down sometimes. "The Beamont Surprise" writers don't know we exist.

And that is the reason we quit getting the BE and switched to the PA News years ago.

This video was obviously filmed by one of #60's parents. Big boy and seems to hustle. Hard to see how good Willis is from this video. Interesting.

I saw that one, and some others on YouTube. The Willis Defense seems very soft to me. # 60 is the only Big player they seem to have. Their offense moves the ball well on the ground at times, we MUST make first contact stops.

After watching "hi lights" from several games this year of Willis, I say PN-G wins this one 48 - 14. If we play OUR game!!
