Radio Issues
During our last two broadcasts, we have experienced issues that have kept us
off the air. We know how much you depend on the broadcast and these
interruptions are unacceptable to us too. This year, to provide our
listeners with a better quality broadcast, we upgraded our technology and
moved from an analog signal carried over the phone to a digital signal
carried over the internet to the radio station. To add another level of
complexity, we now simulcast with the video stream. As with any new system,
there have been a few bumps in the road. The technicians have isolated the
problems and have assured us that we will not have the same issues again.
Please know that we have done everything from the broadcast booth possible
to transmit our signal. These issues have made us more aware of potential
pitfalls and we are refining our procedures both in the broadcast booth and
at the studio to ensure these issues don't happen again.

We take our jobs seriously. Even though the broadcast team only performs
these tasks on average 12 times a year, we strive to perform at the highest
level. We value our customers and enjoy hearing from you, even when you are
unhappy with the product.

I do have a request of you that would help us diagnose problems when you let
us know of an issue. Please be very descriptive of the problem and tell us
what source you are using to listen to the broadcast. For example, last
night the radio broadcast was clear, but listening on the internet was not.
It also helps to know if you are logged onto www.cool925.com, or through
another website. And finally, we use a special link to transmit the raw
feed to the station. Those addresses change on a weekly basis and are not
always the same. If someone has provided you a link to hear those
transmissions, we would ask that you not use those, but instead log on to
the radio station website.

Thanks for following the PNG Indians and giving us the opportunity to bring
the games to you.

Sincerely,
Joe W Arnold

Love the job you'll are doing in trying to keep the Indian Nation (locally and abroad) posted and up to date. My son in law played for the Indians in 1999. He is in the Navy and loves being able to hear Indian football no matter where he is at. Keep up the good work!

Living in Frisco, TX (DFW area), it's hard for me to make any of the games unfortunately. That said, I listen to and love the broadcasts on the internet through 92.5...you all are great and keep me on the seat of my pants! Keep up the great work and I look forward to hearing you for several more weeks!

Thanks Joe and Paul. You, BASF FINA Petrochemicals, and other sponsors fill a void on Friday nights for all of us that can't be at the game.

This web page is dedicated to you all. ;D

Joe, I want to personally thank you for all you do for PNGISD and our fans. Our son who lives in Surprise, Arizona, gathers with a group of locals every week to sip a brew and listen to the Indians. Now all the locals are talking about they'd love to see one of our games in person, etc. They depend on you and I've heard nothing but praise about your broadcast. We are so proud of our community and school. Again, thanks!
