This is one of my favorites. Such aggression. Fires me up to this day.

Yes. What strikes you about it is the FORCE with which they are playing it, and the ENERGY displayed by the band and the students. This is the way it needs to be DONE.

That was after Marching Contest in Fall ‘84 at LCM. Those kids running across the field at the end were LCM band members.

Is it just me, or did Cherokee sound a lot like the 1984 version last Friday?

All of it sounded outstanding. There are college teams that don’t have the fans and band like a certain little ol’ purple and white high school from SE Texas. Anyone that denies that it’s special is in denial.
