PNG Team is missing something--the cheerleaders!

Just thought I'd share with everyone. Varsity Cheerleader PM'd me and apologized appropriately stating she/he was wrong about the stipend and other things. This demonstrated a degree of maturity and it made me feel better about the intelligence and class these students can demonstrate. I'm just calling this a "life lesson" for both of us and going on looking forward to many PNG activities to enjoy. Sadly, I have no choice about missing the basketball game this evening and I really did want to go.

No offense Squaw, but the only performance I want to see tonight is the one where the Indians outperform the Bullpups. :duel:

I'm new to this board and was reading through previous topics. I find it amazing that after a known "kid" tried to stand up for himself and defend what he thought was appropriate and right, some of you went as far as making fun of his grammar? Classy PNG. Classy. So I guess his opinion only matters if it's your opinion right? I bet you people voted for Barack Obama. HA. Do you people really wonder why the global economy is crap and the world is falling apart? Just look in the mirror..people who sit on the a$$ and think they know what's going on. I can assure, as someone from the inside of the school district, only a small majority of you actually know what's going on in the school district. Your small, arrogant, and senile minds cannot wrap around what goes on and into putting on any type of activity related to the schools. If you're over the age of fourty, take your tax dollars and get the hell out. Then, hard working twenty and thirty somethings can rebuild the community with their children and grandchildren because you and yours just aren't cutting it anymore. Move to Port Arthur, maybe your political views will line up with theirs. Sit around and wait for a hand out, that's about your mindset on the school district.

indianalways, varsitycheerleader threw a few rounds of insults (which were arguably unprovoked) at others as well, and for you to make such characterizations as those above doesn't help your argument any more than his attacks helped him. It follows that he be criticized for posting his views in a less than proper manner when he makes accusations of ignorance himself. Besides, the overwhelming majority of posters that commented on this topic ignored his ignorance of grammatical rules and responded to his posts as though they were written correctly.

This situation was handled nearly a year ago. Apologies were made and all misunderstandings were rectified. I think we need to leave it be.

And for the record:

I did NOT support the President's campaign last year and disagree with most of his views and policies.

This is a very old thread. Can we please let it die and focus on what a great group of roundballers we have THIS year.

Sometimes to be taken seriously, one must use correct grammar and spelling. You wouldn't send a letter to your boss without crossing your 'T's and dotting your 'I's. It was merely a hint at the kids immaturity. I must applaud the youngster for standing up for his beliefs, and eventually apologizing when he realized he was wrong.

But this is what I don't get...
I don't see how you can guess someone polical affiliation off a comment such as that, much less tell a hard-working, tax-paying, involved member of our community to "get the hell out". If all the folks over 40 left, there would be NO MONEY for the school district to run off of. School and school activities are not a hand-out, these people know it because they PAY for them!

I agree. Seem to recall cheerleaders present for the game last night against WO-S HS.

sorry, my apologies for the continuance. I just found it offensive for this person to say our residents need to "get the hell out".

Congrats on the game last night Indians! 9-2 is a great start, keep up the good work!
