PNG vs. Central Location?

I heard the following rumor. I'm sure it's just a rumor but just wanted to see if there was any validity to it.......They are trying to fing a neutral location to play this Friday nights game because of the tension from last years game. Has anyone else heard this? :duel:

thats not very neutral... and I also thought that I read this is their last game in that stadium so they probably won't want to move the game.

Yeah...I've been kinda sceered thinking about going over there after what happened last year...and that was at our stadium...things could get real ugly if and when we put a butt whoopin' on them on their turf :-\!

I'm more concerned about the crowds than I am the football teams. Both teams have new coaches that have instilled quite a bit more discipline in these players as compared to last year. My concern is what goes on in the stands and in the parking lot, not so much what happens on the field.

You never know, though. Anything's possible, as last year's Central game proved.

They won't be the only ones there. There were a few county constables at the Ozen game and I remember a state trooper or two at last year's Central game. My guess is that they'll have this and then some at the Babe Friday.

Don't shoot me if this info is wrong--they don't decide until tomorrow. Coach says he wants it where it will hold everyone who wants to go. Reliance??? lol

Bf said at the Bc meeting that it could be Stallworth, LaPorte, Deer Park and maybe Pasadena (not sure about that one). He said we propably would not know until after Friday nite. There will be many playoff spots determined Friday nite and that is what they have to wait for. He never mentioned Reliant stadium as a possibility.

I'm betting on Stallworth. It's big enough and closer than Pasadena for both teams. Weather pemitting - we won't have any problem filling up the stands. Has any one heard whether or not it would be on Friday night or sometime Saturday? If its Saturday - we are gonna get there early and tailgate for a while, maybe meet some of those 50 yrd. line loud mouths and invite them all to sit with us so we can really make some noise. I know we can "out noise" those folks from Barbers Hill. What do you say fans?

I am glad I'm not the only one concerned about this. I posted a comment on setxsports.com about having plenty of security there and I was ripped for bringing it up.

That being said... I feel like there will be a lot more security than last year.... :clap:

My son in law's father is a Sergent on the BISD police force. He told us that they will be parking PNG fans on the Concord side of the stadium and as of right now have 25+ officers scheduled for the game.

Your welcome. It made me feel better after he told me that. I was feeling a little uneasy about the location and walking to and from the car. Not the best neighborhood in the world. If they felt it important enought to move the Bmt. fair, than that tells me something!!!! ???

So, please correct me if I'm wrong, I've never been to Babe Zaharius so I think you go down MLK all the way to I10, then turn left on the feeder road, then right on Concord? Just trying to make sure I know how to get there, cause I really don't want to get lost around there... ???
