Enjoyed the road trip from Houston to Lufkin to see a PN-G W. It never gets old to see the Marching I and the Indian Spirit...it never gets old to see a PN-G W. Indians have some momentum.
Offensive Line +++ [great job blowing up the line of scrimmage and creating running lanes]
RBs +
QB +
WR + [#10 is an awesome little WR...he gets open and catches the ball; 11 is big and tall...what a target at WR]
Defense + [#22, 48, 9, and 5 make plays all over the field]
Missed PAT (off the upright) and blocked PAT -
Turnovers [especially in the red zone] -
Penalties [unforced errors; motion/illegal procedure] -
Gave up 2 big plays [the little RB for Chapel Hill was fast] -
Injuries -
Fun game to watch...I love the tempo and diversity PN-G shows on offense...different sets, motion, and a good mix of run/pass...faking the run, moving the QB outside the pocket, and the WRs running combination routes...never know where the ball is going. The Indians exploded in the 2Q. Need to clean up the turnovers...can't have INTs in the red zone because good teams will capitalize on them. The OL is coming together. The way our OL controlled the line of scrimmage, run the ball in the red zone. Defense is better than we have had in the past, much better. QB is very good. He can move, throw on the run, and throws a nice deep ball...he can throw darts across the middle and on slants. Sorry to see #13 get hurt. Clean up the TOs and penalties, stay away from injuries, and PN-G will be a formidable force in district. It will take a good game from other district teams to beat PN-G. The Indians looked good last night. They made Chapel Hill look like garbage. Other than 2 or 3 big plays, Chapel Hill did nothing.
Go Indians. Peace.
