Read this this morning. The comment that caught my eye from FieldTurf's VP of Marketing said "We are committed to a site evaluation in the coming weeks. We are waiting on PNGHS to come back to us with a suitable date for this visit." Shouldn't any date be suitable?

I know the soccer teams are using the field a lot this time of year, but it seems like that would be easy to work around.

A site eval is exactly that a site evaluation ! Not a tear out or cut out. As a tax payer I want this fixed immediately and done right. If the company says no then take it too court and make them fulfill their warranty ! We pay taxes therefore as a tax paying resident I demand they fix whats wrong ASAP !!!!

Just the way I feel.

I agree with you. From what I was told, we are not the only school with turf problems from this company.

Brandon Janes The Port Arthur News

PORT NECHES — The Port Neches-Groves Independent School District hired the McPherson Law Firm to represent the district in a potential law suit against FeildTurf, the company that installed the turf at Indian Stadium in 2008 as part of a bond project.

The field has shown premature wear and is still under warranty.

And, if they make us sue, then we should file for punitive damages as well.
I agree, I think most attorneys in a suit like this do file for punitive damages. Make em fix the problem and let them know that PNGISD is not playing around.
