Rankings mean nothing at 7:30PM on Friday night. In this district anything can happen on any Friday. The boys are playing great and need to continue prepairing for their next opponents as they are now. I would like to see no personal fouls called on us at least once this year. We're getting there just not quite there yet. Can't take anything away from these hard working young men, they are doing great and improving each and every week. Great job by the coaches also.

I still feel as though the offense hasn't jelled 100% yet. I think the next 3 weeks will move our O into a higher level of confidence and competitive ability. What I mean is that the O will start moving the ball more easily and score more rapidly. The passing game will happen more easily for Doty and the receivers, Harmon will gain alot more yardage over the next 3 games as the line becomes even more confident in their ability to block. The Indians will be firing 100% by the Central game, and from there its no stopping !!! This is something very special that we are all watching and experiencing. I don't know how many people can see what is happening for the program, but this is just the beginning. Hard to put words to the feeling but its all something very special that has been missing for such a long time in Indian territory !!!

The new rankings for the week of 10-18-09 came out today on www.texasfootball.com. PNG is not even in the Top 25 on the Dave Campbell site. Did the new AP Poll come out yet???

#10 in the polls...Was that the coach who was in the running for head coach here?

Yes it was. Wouldn't it be something if we met them down the road in the play-offs?

MY DOG
To ALL,

I have just sent the following email to ALL persons at both the Houston Chronicle and Beaumont Enterprise. Hopefully it will get a response from someone:

There is a big discrepancy in your Stats for District 20-4A schools. There are some numbers missing for the Port Neches Groves Indians Stats through this season. Please research this as the number of interceptions is off, especially for Dre Dunbar, as well as Passing and Rushing yardage. It woild be nice to get this corrected to that the proper Stats get credited to PNG. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Yeah. Dave Campbell (www.texasfootball.com) does not even have PNG in the Top 25 as of the week of 10-18-09. He has teams in the Top 25 with 3 losses. Come on people and give the Indians some love!!! Port Neches needs to go out these next 3 weeks and really prove a point to everyone and beat the dog out of Lumberton, Ozen, and especially Central!!!

For the week of 10-25-09, www.texasfootball.com (Dave Cmpbell) still does not have PNG in the Top 25. But, www.sportspower.com has the Indians ranked #7 this week. Does anybody have the link to where you can go and check the AP Poll???

Sportspower also has Central at #14.

No worries down here at PNG about Dave Campbell. Areas outside of the metroplex locations rarely get any look as far as his polls go in the 4A and 5A classifications.
