I don't live in the area, but I've heard from friends that do...and the 2012 Fighting Lady Indians aka Rock-A-Noos are having another great season. I hear they are tops in District 20-4A. Any local news of Coach Comeaux's girls? Another District Championship for PN-G? Anyone want to elaborate on key players, role players, contributors, wins, and the PLAYOFFS? Crickets? Chirp? Chirp? Silence? Crickets? Chirp? Chirp?

Go Indians. Peace.

I know they're undefeated in district and are showing no signs of slowing down. They play Nederland at Nederland Tuesday.

:rocks: Another great win . OK, is there anyone out there that will tell me how the Rock -A-Noos got their name?

Team secret. They can tell you, but then they'd have to kill you. ;D

Concering how the Rock-A-Noos got their name....One story I heard was back in the 70s. And the version that I heard had Coach Comeaux giving them the name. Maybe someone on the team back in can chime in....Diane, Toni, Cathy??? Anyone???

 PN-G's Coach Comeaux gets 1,100th win with Rock-A-Noos and she has guided PN-G to 40 straight state
volleyball playoff appearances. I bet she is so excited for her students as well as herself. :rocks: Way to go Coach
and Teams !!!

????????????????????????????
She has to be THE BEST hire in PNG history. In the beginning she had 2nd class facilities and ran 2nd fiddle to Football even though her program is far more successful than our storied football program. And I mean that sincerely!!!!!40 straight playoff appearances, think about it?

I've got information saying that 1982 was the only year Coach Comeaux missed the playoffs, meaning she's gone 29 years straight and 39 of the last 40. Can anyone confirm?

Either way, that's still outstanding work. Congratulations, again.
