Run Thru

I wish there was a way the PNGYFA players could all wear their jeseys and run through the Indian Headdress before the players at a home game. Just a thought, I have seen other schools do it a few years ago.

get in contact with Coach Faircloth i bet he may let the kids do it maybe at the last home game! That would be very cool for these kids! and a memories that last a lifetime!

Could someone bring it up at the booster club meeting for me? ;)

I think it would be more appropriate for the pres. of PNYFL to bring it up to Coach Faircloth. The Booster Club does not make those decisions.

That is a great idea! We get to bring in the middle school kids into the band to help play during one of the games. The little ones that attend the Indianette camps and Cheer camps get to perform. Let's find a way to squeeze these children in as well please.

Someone mentioned the last home game. That's the night the band parents stand with our kids on the field and the senior band members are recognized on the field. That would be a great time to add the run through also. Let's make room for them all!

I know many of us will cringe at how long that game will last. What a great problem to have. We have so many little Indians who grow up wanting to be part of the purple and belonging to the Indian nation. What other schools just don't get is that we use purple as the equalizer to make our kids a part of something that is huge. They work hard, practice (football, dance, instruments, tumbling, choir) and become part of the pageantry. If we need to adjust the timing so we move some of this to the other games for the next season we can ask the school to plan that. For this year, let's squeeze them all in!

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
