So are you saying they just basically give you an acceptance to the school and the athlete has to pay the tab? 20 years ago I would say okay (if you can afford it), but not now.

Ivy League colleges provide need-based financial aid. They don't provide "academic" scholarships because everyone enrolled is strong academically, and not everyone needs a scholarship due to family circumstances.

Probably not the exact term
But there’s federal aid then there’s endowment aid (as I understand it)

I would pass on an Ivy League School...to much indoctrination if it was me advising. Regardless, it's a great honor. Hopefully he will get some big in state Schools to offer.
