SOC vs Dallas Samuel

Last week I was talking to my Grandson about how SOC was going to play the one team (Samuell) that could possibly give them a run for the money. And now for this to come out just before their game against Samuell. SMH

There’s only one way to fix the transfer problem. It has to be “you transfer, you sit for one season.” That might cause some problems, but not near as many as trying to police every move. And, it forces you to REALLY need to move , not just have some mysterious “I need to move and it’s definitely not for football” reason.

Yet no-one’s looking into SOC.
And they openly advertise players coming in from other states. Pretty obvious.
Yep! Their starting QB is Reggie McNeal Jr, son of former A&M QB Reggie McNeal. He was at one of the Katy ISD schools his Fresh/Soph years, Houston Heights last year, and now SOC for his Senior year. But, all the “school hopping” has NOTHING to do with FOOTBALL though…a 3+ star ATHLETE just picked up and “relocated” to SOC for “educational” reasons! Mmmkkkaaayyy

I agree but may need to have mitigating circumstances for pre-approval.
Sometimes the family providers just have to move for employment reasons or death in family etc.

Yeah, sometimes that true. And if that’s true, it’s obviously more important than football. And, if we can have kids living “with relatives” to transfer to new schools, they can do the same when their family moves and stay at their old school. Or, football isn’t the most important thing in life and they can deal with that.

100% agree

Sorry
You have to miss football

Or you can live with a friend for a semester at your existing school then transfer for the spring semester to your new school.

Sorry
That’s life
Either that or it will quickly get out of control

Like Carthage
(Allegedly)
With small duplex apt buildings that have a few vacancies for 300 pounders to live with their mothers who just happened to get jobs at the Tyson chicken plant.
Or in natural gas
But he moves em (allegedly) from the 30-60 mile radius their 8th grade years

He knows who the 7th graders in Marshall or Elisian Fields are
But they can still technically live in their home towns
Their parents just are “separated” for a while ha

But the difference is
Since Carthage is a dynasty
These parents will do anything needed to have their kids play at Carthage
So the parents themselves are moving the family mailing addresses early in the game
Without any effort (at this point) from the coaching staff

And granted Surratt is one of the greatest offensive minds on the planet I’ve known him since about 12-14
And went to college “with” him (at the same time) friendly guy but the most competitive person I’ve ever met
He literally recruited “retired” basketball and baseball players at the college to play on his intermural football team (he himself played baseball) and got a sponsorship from the local baseball card shop (Yogi’s) to have black jerseys made. Lol
I know I’ve shared this a number of times (deal wit’ it lol JK) but that fire makes him successful ( most people don’t know about his Texas High state title (in convincing fashion as OC in 2002.

You won’t believe what comes out of the mouths of cheaters from corrupt school officials and administrators.
