I'm sure most of you have realized what I'm about to share, but I'm a little slow and it just hit me this morning. It appears our NDN's lucky # is 10, as far as playoff runs are concerned. Here's what I discovered....

1989
-Made it to State Quarterfinals vs A&M Consolidated

1999
-State Finals vs Stephenville

2009
-??

Each time going deeper into the playoffs...could this be our year to win it all??
I'm thinking the cheerleaders should put this on our run through for our first playoff game...what yall think?

I don't know I'm kinda superstitious that may jinx it. But it is quite interesting.

That's very cool. I was a senior for that game against A&M consolidated and we had a great team that year. I really thought we could win that game in 1999 as well with Long at the helm. Hopefully the 3rd time is the charm in 2009! I hate to look ahead, but given we get by our first 2 rounds, we should have a very good Angleton team in the quarterfinals.
