Spring Practice

Isiah Nguyen is among the top 5 or so fastest current track athletes at PNG along with Tommy Reed, Blair Chatagnier and Isaac Sinnette. All 4 of these backs run a mid to high 11 second 100 meters and all 4 are battling it out for playing time in 2022. Great depth. In comparison Koby Trahan was an 11.58 100m guy last season and he could run the football field like a deer. So any of these guys who can figure out how to get to the second level will have some long runs. Nguyen seems to have the best change of direction of the 4 and does not go down easily despite his smaller stature. Sinnette is also fast, cuts well and is big and strong. Mix that in with a big, experienced offensive line and the district leading passing game and opponents are going to have a tough time stopping this team.

Prosperie is also probably just as fast but does not have a publicly recorded 100m time. But he did have a sub 24 second 200m time.

With the new staff and changes along with one of the best returning teams in years, expected this to be a very lively spring and summer on this message board. The crickets are louder than the regular members here. ;)

(The crickets being those not participating or not getting excited about the prospects. Not the ones who are.)
