On both plays the SOC defensive back initiated contact while the ball was in the air and prevented the receiver from having a chance to catch the ball. Neither drew a flag. He wasn’t going for the ball when he made contact on either play. Just interfering with the reveiver.
Watch the pulling tackle #71 literally tackle Max Scroggs at 6:45 in video to spring the run which ultimately lead to a FG to close out the half.

Every play had 2-3 holds on both defense and offense
They are coached to make (force) the referee to throw the flag - don’t worry the SJWs will come to your defense later baby.
It’s a way of life.

SOC’s true colors, literally and figuratively are coming into focus. Some people took the low road and that’s exactly where it took them. The legends are becoming more and more questionable at every turn.

Who are these fools just sitting around during the Marching I - ugh......:mad:
Looks like fans of other schools. Red, blue, etc shirts. Possiblly general fans that go to multiple sc games.

All I know is that if you were for PNG in that game, there was a lot of standing, hollering and clapping all game long. On the onside kick recovery and last defensive stand, the crowd reaction was insane. The loudest and most engaged I’ve ever seen PNG fans at a game.

+1. The last defensive stand vs SOC was the loudest game I can remember. I have family members that will argue 1975 Kashmere, 1976 Memorial, 1977 Kashmere, and 1977 Plano were just as loud and intense. My money is on the 2023 state championship game vs. SOC. It was loud, intense, and no one in the building was sitting down on that last defensive stand. I can't wait for August to get here! Go Indians!

1999 vs LaMarque was an extremely loud and raucos 20,000 Indian fans as PNG pounded on a favored LaMarque team. Especially when everyone was responding to that LaMarque ‘Whoosh’ routine.

1999 vs. Stephenville was certainly loud at times with 34,000 fans on our side.
