To the many, many longtime, faithful members here, thanks for helping make this PNG virtual community great. When this started up in 2000, there was no Facebook, no Instagram, no YouTube, etc. This was social media. So thank you for hanging around and making this place continue to be relevant.

Here are just a few of the orginal members. If I missed your name, chime in. If we haven't heard from you in a while, the porch light is always on.

2000? REALLY??…. my son wasn’t even BORN yet and now he’s one of the newest members of the “Purple Bubble Huddle”, as I like to call it! :p I’ve LOVED having a place to talk FOOTBALL without being “dismissed” cause I’m a GIRL…lol! Thanks to all you OG’s and EVERYONE for turning this site into ANOTHER great PNG TRADITION we get to enjoy

Next year will be the 25th anniversary of the inception of both the website and this forum. Through thick and thin, having the original data center fail years ago including losing the backup, being hacked by some overseas low-lifes, multiple data centers and message-board software changes, and all the good things before, during and after that.

We are a microcosm of PNG spirit and all who live and breath it. We’ve seen many parents, grandparents, coaches, teachers, players, and great fans and alumni of all generations come and go. With so many great ideas and comments. And we’ve lost a few wonderful people along the way and miss them, but we the collective group always look forward to new fans joining us. There has been a surge in new memberships this year.

Love us or hate us, we are 100% dedicated to PN-G here and proud of it. Blessed are the purple and white. And may the PNG spirit always soar high.

I’ve never been much on posting, but I have always enjoyed reading all the comments and opinions. As someone that’s been in the software business for over 20 years, I’ve appreciated what you’ve built and maintained, IndianFan. Keep it up!
I have always appreciated you being a member. With you being a fellow IT/Software nerd/geek, your positive words mean a lot. Thank you.

From Frontpage templates and hand coded HTML in the beginning of pngindians.com, to 'state of the art' CMS, it has evolved. I once considered building a bespoke ASP.NET site with a SQL database behind it, but decided it would be too much building/testing/maintenance and bug fixes. (Maybe when I retire and want to keep active.) Like it is, you of all people can imagine 25 years of just keeping this up is enough work.

But as you also know, any software is pointless without the people using it. So the reason for my appreciation for everyone.

When you’ve been here so long you have to create a new username because you forgot your login info after being logged out one day and the email you used to create your original name is deactivated - then you know you’re old! Finally guessed my password, so back to the OG username!

Hey IndianFan…I got a technical question for ya! Like I said, my son just joined the site and he tried to change his username after he setup his account cause he didn’t realize posts were gonna show his REAL name :p but it won’t let him change it now….just wondering if there’s a work around or something?

As a soft ware source.

What does PNG NDN Press podcast need equipment wise to take it up a notch for both home and away games.

I.e. Boost WiFi strength at away games?

I.e. Understand PNG NDN Press are not allow in press box. Balancing equipment on bleacher benches and shutting down cameras during inclement weather.

UIL has relax some Regulations on electronic equipment allowed in press.

The PNG Student announcers and sideline reporting are great and lend humility, fairness, and balance. Good job Mr. Tobias for your coaching and instilling ethics. Honor Pride Tradition.

I am impressed only with Huntsville podcast graphics, sights and sound quality. Would like to setup a similar package. Can you find out who their graphic creator was?

Their announcers are adult professionals and homies. It’s their careers. They may be using their commercial radio station.
