The path to the reservation......

This is my first time to start a thread, so if I have done anything incorrectly - please educate me!

Did you notice the flags in the esplanade to the Texas City game? Wasn't that neat? Could we do this down Merriman from Jack in the Box to the high school? I know that Port Neches puts up racing flags on the poles during the weeks before Riverfest.

Could we do it with an Indian theme and leave them up? That way all schools coming to the High School for any event would see our pride in all of our kids? If we left them up during the school year we could renew them, if necessary during the summer.

I'm not really sure how to even attach the flags or what the design could be, but with the amazing talent some of you have I am sure we could do something. Does anyone know who does that sort of thing? Would it be a school issue or a city issue? Or do you have to contact Entergy since it would be on their poles? I would be willing to contribute if someone could look into it.

What I do know is how wonderful it would look to drive to the High School with flags on both sides of the street showing our pride and joy in our kids!

Thoughts?

Great Idea!! I have said all along that the more things we can do at / or near our home field--the better. The reservation needs to be the single most intimidating place to play that there is!!
