Uniform & Helmet Changes

How many of you think he will make some changes to the uniform and helmet logo? Will he harken back to the white helmets? Will he bring a whole new logo in all together the way Malone did? I for one am certainly interested to see what changes could be made to add an even higher sense of excitement around the Reservation.

I would think he might want to put his own stamp on the uni's.

I's like to see some white helmets, maybe the redskins logo on it with purple Tomakawk pride stickers!

I agree that the helmets should be updated and the white road uniforms should be updated. The PNG on the helmet should be much larger. Going back to a white helmet would look great. If we stay with a purple helmet, I would like to see a lighter purple similar to TCU or Northwestern.

I would think the uniforms and helmets would not be an issue with him right now. Teaching his way of coaching to everybody, and teaching plays to everybody would be top priority. Win a couple of games, than we'll talk about the expense of new uniforms and helmets. Right now I do not care if they played in their BVD's :ha: :helmet: as long as we start to see some wins.

Sorry, but I have to disagree here. A few years ago the cheerleaders and Indianettes used a lighter purple. It is called Lavender. UGH! Was it ugly or what?

I couldn't find the thread but I thought a month or two ago, someone mentioned the hemets were being changed to silver. Or was that just someones suggestion? It seems like someone even brought up having silver pants like the Cowboys...could have dreamed it though, who knows.

I think PNG in large letters like the helmet that has the large I would look good.

Bring back the zig-zags on the uni's.....Very unique and we stood out when we wore those. I don't know of any other uniforms like that in the state. I would like for the Indians to be like MOJO or Temple (one color on front, another color on back) where when you see the uniform, everyone knows that it is PN-G.

The 89 & 90 helmets were the one's I was referring to, those are the only ones missing. The 89 helmet was the Florida State logo (the indian head on their pants not the arrow) and the 90 was a unique looking picture thats hard to locate.

I agree. I loved the zig zags, too! I hope we don't copy anyone--I think the Indians should continue to have the best mascot, best uniforms, best school colors and add "best school team". I will admit, though, I am a little prejudiced. :laugh:

I got to thinking, I love the old school zig zags as well. But once I saw that old school helmet w/ the "I" on it, I love it. White Helmet, Purple Stripe down the middle, w/ the old school "I" or something similar and a gray facemask.
