Great FB message A.P. Your leadership and communication skills are admirable.
If we don’t total the most votes in this poll, it’ll be due to an inability to reach all of the fan base and failure to engage more impactful communication channels and techniques. The same could be said for all the larger schools and communities that were part of this series of polls. Or maybe they just didn’t care as much.
We might also consider the small number of spiteful foes who would rather show their ass than support PN-G.
Win or lose, truthfully this poll is just a distraction for fans and a great way for DCTF to lure site traffic. The fact that Allen’s Eagle Stadium, Katy’s Legacy Stadium, Cy-Fair’s FCU Stadium, Odessa’s Ratliff Stadium, Waco ISD’s Stadium or maybe even the the Alamo Bowl not winning this poll makes it a parody of sorts. The ultimate parody being the possibility of a 300 seat stadium with no distinction as a top venue other than local geography.
In reality there can be no #1 high school stadium in Texas. There are too many great venues in the state and too many communities who will always insist that theirs is best.
As for the students, teachers, parents, fans and alumni of Port Neches-Groves High School, we also know that Indian Stadium is as worthy as any to be recognized as a top stadium in the state, and probably more worthy than most.
The haters can call PN-G arrogant, egotistical, or any other name they wish, facts are facts. When speaking of 6A to 6 man Texas football, PN-G’s place in state football history is established, it’s community support recognized, it’s representation of the Texas high school football experience proven. Indian Stadium doesn’t disappoint and is worthy of the top spot regardless of button click counts.
