He’s still leading, but now with another guy gaining on him. BTW, you can vote again every 24 hours. I didn’t notice that the first time I voted, or I would have voted for him a few more times.

Roschon running away with it now. Lets keep it up!! Another thing I want to mention is that when you vote you sometimes (or always) have to answer some weird question, like solving a simple math problem, in order for your vote to count (their version of a Captcha?). On at least a couple of occasions I may have missed this and thought I voted when my vote actually didn’t count.

Second place guy rapidly gaining on Roschon, although he is still ahead by a good margin. Lets get him over the finish line!!!

Now in second place as there is likely an organized effort to not let a Texas player win it.

Now is the time for another social media push to encourage voting. Can someone spread the word in the community Facebook groups and any other group you can think of?

Here’s the link again.

Remind people to scroll up and answer the captcha question after voting.

Think you are right about the likely conspiracy. I saw this happen one time before with a Texas player (can’t remember who; may have even been previous poll involving Roschon). Started out blowing everyone away and at the last minute votes start flooding in for the second place person and overtakes the Texas player. Lets not allow that to happen!!! Currently trailing by about 400 votes when he was ahead by 1000-1500 not too long ago.

It’s going to take a mass effort as in getting the thousands of Alana’s alumni to vote. If someone could get the UT students and alumni behind him, it would be not contest. But voter apathy is a reality in all contests.

Keep in mind, this poll is for 1 vote out of 18. If you read the top, it says that 17 votes will come from sportswriters, etc. with the 18th vote being a fan vote. So he’s still got a great chance if he loses this poll.

I am aware of that, but his “fans” still need to help him win the fan portion of the contest. I actually have no idea what chance he has to win the contest as a whole, as I have no idea how familiar national sportswriters and media are with him. However, it seems like winning the fan vote would increase his chances substantially.

Roschon has gained some ground but still trails by about 200 votes. Come on Indian and Longhorn nation, lets put him over the top!!! If anyone is a member of the Rivals (Orangebloods) website, post a note about this competition on that website. He is extremely well liked by Longhorn fans, so I bet folks on that website could mobilize a bunch of votes.

It's tough to rally the masses. You'd think that one surge from just the UT student body and alumni, aided by SE Texas folks would crush that poll.

Gap narrowed to 150 votes. With more than a week left we can still do it if we keep it up. Keep voting every day, and tell everyone you know to do the same!!!
