Wade Phillips is in a situation that he can't control. Between Jerry Jones meddling and having to deal with the disruptive players that Jones signed (Pacman Jones, Tank Johnson, T. Owens, Roy Williams, etc), he has a tough row to hoe.

One thing that was obvious this season. The Dallas defense improved tremendously when Wade took over the defensive play calling. It was a night and day type difference. Wade Phillips is one of THE best defensive coordinators on the planet.

Wade did come to town yesterday. He said he was here to see his mother-in-law. It is quite a coincidence that it was the last day for applications???? Who knows? Someone said he plans to semi-retire, collect retirement from the NFL and coach PNG as a "passtime" job. He loves PN and may want to come home. Again, who knows? Time will tell.

It's great that one of the most talented coaches with equally great character calls Port Neches, TX home.

It may not be this year, but anything is possible in the future. It would probably be the perfect situation for him.

:thud: Don't think he would qualify to coach at PNG. He may not have his masters degree !!!!

LMAO!!!

We can give him an honorary one. I mean if Wade can handle T.O. for two years, he deserves a masters...Heck, he probably deserves a doctorate. However, I don't know if could handle some of the personalities in the stands at the rez!!! lol
