By "hobbling" I meant we shot both our feet last night with the 4 turnovers(2 fumbles and 2 int's). We didn't play mistake free football like we should have but we still got the job done. Coming away with a win with that many turnovers against a team like WO-S speaks volumes about our new found talent and confidence! I knew Brant was due for some long runs and he came through. This kid is going to be exciting every time he touches the ball. Like I posted earlier in the week, when Halfin gets into the secondary, the other team might as well just head to the bench because it's a quick 6(Brant "Q6" Halfin?). There were several times Brant was a tackle away from breaking more long runs. I haven't seen that much speed in a Indian RB probably since "Jet" Bergeron(correct me if I'm wrong!) Ky played well but it seemed when he couldn't find anyone downfield to throw to, he'd try to force the pass in a crowd. Maybe it was just "second game jitters." Sparks and Murdock played exceptional in getting open. Of course the "PNG Rose" wasn't about to get shut out in getting his touches. Here's another player that is electrifying every time he goes downfield. Great catch and run on his TD. The OL had their hands full with the WO-S rush but they did a good job. Defense played a hell of a game against a super fast offense. Saw several tackles that were bone jarring. Loved the constant penetration into the Mustang backfield to harass the QB and RB's. Overall, it was an ugly win with the turnovers and the chippy field play on both sides. Still, our guys will build on these wins to be a force to be reckoned with in the district!
