Who's wearing RED for Midcounty Madness????

I totally support Bridge City, both with donations and money, but I feel if we sold red ribbons stating "PNG fans support Bridge City's efforts" (or something like that) for $5.00 each and we all bought and wore one, the money would come in handier rather than just wearing the color red. Sorry, but I, for one, just HAVE TO wear purple on game nights. Whoever thought of this idea probably was not a Port Neches native.

I would buy a ribbon to wear Saturday night. If they let people know ahead of time, they could probably sell them at the gate. I was just gonna take a piece of ribbon and make my own. If someone has the resources, they should really run with this idea. I think any help we can give to the BC community will be much appreciated. From what I am hearing, there will be a HUGE turn out for Sunday ("MCK"). I will be there.

Having a close friend in BC has me wanting to wear red. I also think that I can wear purple Saturday, and still show up to work Sunday. The baord Pres. put out an appeal to everyone to wear red Saturday.

I'd like to see what everyone's plans are. If enough people do it, I will wear red. I still feel the need to wear purple though . . .

Anyone from Ned? What are y'all's thoughts?

I got a long sleeve red shirt. I think I'll wear that and put my short sleeve purple shirt over the top of it.

yeah i wanted to do a white out game last year and not to many fans were down for that but the red ribbons would be good to seel at the gate on both sides think 13000 people times 5.00

I like the red ribbon idea, donating a minimum of $5.00 (or whatever amount is on one's heart). This way we show our support for BC by wearing something red AND contribute to their recovery financially as well. Sorry, but I HAVE to wear my DAWG colors to games, especially MCM.

My point exactly! I would wear red if it would help BC, but since it won't I choose to help the PNG Indians by showing my support. I can't imagine wearing anything but purple and white, especially at MCM. It warms my old heart to see that others feel the same. That said, I will do anything else I can to help BC as they need it. So do people I know in PN, Nederland, Hamshire-Fannett and Beaumont. Seems as if both the insurance companies and FEMA aren't doing much for recovery due to abuses from Rita.

This is MCM we are trying to get back to normal after IKE, wearing P&W and B&G is normal. It just wouldn't be MCM with a sea of red. Don't get me wrong I think Mid County Kindness is great but that is Sunday not Saturday. I have many co-workers in BC and I am helping them in every way that I can. They do not have a problem with me wearing P&W to the game, they expect it.

If we have more time we could get the ribbons even if we only had 5000 ribbons and sold them for 5.00 dollars that would help some one for shure now where to we find someone to make 5000 red ribbons
