Week 6 Rankings

Yep, my miss but really not much.
Get past week 6 and then I'll take notes.
I kind of expected RR to be #1

Ok, RR #1 seems reasonable but PNG #2 at this point does not. SOC #3 maybe but only because they aren't playing difficult teams but once they start the playoffs then they go up or do they have any challenging district games?
Now if we beat Huntsville convincingly then maybe.
Oh well, it's week 6 rankings so you have to go with the data you have.
I'd be happier if we are ranked lower. Underdog is preferred.

MaxPrep Texas 5AD2 rankings agree with you. However there are a lot of two loss DFW teams hanging on based on prior year reputations.

Remember Dave Campbell guru Matt Stepp picked La Porte to win the 5AD1 state championship and for Huntsville to win the 5AD2 District 8 title in the preseason.

DCTX football Predictions don’t look so bad if you elevate PNG.

We are now halfway through the season so rankings should now be mostly close to the hole.
I'll pay attention to the newest rankings now.

MaxPreps rankings aren’t worth looking at. It might as well be made by AI. They have a distinct Dallas-area bias, and otherwise don’t seem to even know who the teams in Texas are. This list is a joke. I actually think they might purposely rank poorly just for the clicks.
